The hotel has some perks like a nice patio and partial ocean view, but the noise from the first floor facing inland can be bothersome. While the staff was mostly accommodating, some experiences with the front desk staff fell short, particularly for guests needing special assistance. The location is not the easiest for walking to nearby attractions, as it's a strenuous uphill walk back. Overall, it feels like a decent conference hotel, but it lacks full resort amenities during the off-season.
The Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa is a beautifully renovated hotel with stunning views and friendly staff that truly enhance the guest experience. However, the pool area music is annoyingly loud and continuous, which can detract from the serene atmosphere one might expect at a resort. Additionally, my experience with the room upgrade was disappointing, as I ended up with a worn and unimpressive room, despite being promised an upgrade.
Our stay at the hotel was lovely, with a prime location featuring breathtaking views of the marina and ocean. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed throughout our visit. However, we found the breakfast prices to be a bit high, which was a downside as we had to seek alternatives nearby. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
